Vazhvanthol located 46 kms from Trivandrum has a beautiful waterfall located in the foothills of the western ghats and within the Peppara and Agasthyakoodam forest range in the district of Thiruvanathapuram. Nestled in the lower part of the Bonacaud estate , Vazhvanthol offers a fantastic day out for anyone looking out for a medium level trek. From Trivandrum one need to travel via Nedumangad, Chullimanoor, Vithura, Bonacaud road, by taking right deviation after Vithura. , there is a forest check post near Kanithadam. This is the same check post for the Bonafalls and agastyaarkoodam. Entry charges are Rs. 35/- per person and Rs. 25/- for the vehicle. From there you can proceed further about one Km and then need to walk about 2.25 kms through the forest to reach out the blistering waterfalls deep inside the forest.
