HIRO, The Epic Hair Artist

In Osaka, Japan, lies a hair salon called “Trick Store.” One of their artists, Hiro, has created some of the most cutting edge new styles simply by responding to his clients’ requests. He creates hair styles that one can only call works of art along with his clients, cleverly using 3 different sized shavers and paint brushes, which are not typically used in hair styling. He has made styles based on a tomato, lizard, ladybug, goldfish, and more, and when he posted a picture of his tomato style online, the impact was such that it was shared worldwide.

He has been invited to both China and Korea as a lecturer, and says he wants to work internationally in the future as well. It really is difficult to peel your eyes away from his boundary defying work.

A hipster hairdresser has created cutting edge styles for clients by using paint brushes to construct intricate works of art on people’s heads – including a tomato.

Trick Store in Osaka, Japan, creates the “shave art” by trimming patterns into punters’ heads and using dye to create the colourful cuts.

Artist Hiro, who is known as The Epic Hair Artist, has so far made colourful styles based on a tomato, lizard, ladybug, goldfish, pineapple and many more.

He uses three different sized razors to cut locks and the artist says he simply creates the styles by responding to his client’s requests.

Hiro has since been invited to both China and Korea as a lecturer so he can give advice on how to create whacky hairstyles “that have a punch”.

He said: “At Trick Store We do special hair styles and natural ones, whatever you want really.

“We get a lot of different types of people coming here. Some like really flashy styles, while others are into street styles.
