Langkawi Cable Car
The Langkawi Cable Car, also known as Langkawi SkyCab, is one of the major attractions in Langkawi Island, Kedah, Malaysia. It provides an aerial link from the Oriental Village at Telik Burau to the peak of Gunung Machinchang, which is also the location of the Langkawi Sky Bridge. The total length is 2.2 km (1.4 mi), with a journey time from the base to the top of around 15 minutes.
Langkawi Cable Car is located just north of Telaga Harbour, Pantai Kok, with the entrance within ‘Oriental Village’ at the foot hill of the Mat Chincang mountain range. It is located to the north-west of the Langkawi International Airport, on the west coast of the main island of Langkawi. It is approximate 30 minutes drive from Kuah town and 15 minutes drive from Langkawi International Airport.
The ride afford a view of the surrounding forest, the Telaga Tujuh (Seven Wells) waterfall, as well as the sea. From the top station there is an inclinator called SkyGlide and a mountain route that allow access to the Langkawi Sky Bridge. There are two viewing platforms at the top of Machincang mountain, and other amenities.
There is a 2.5 km walking trail, the SkyTrail, through the forest from the top station that goes down to the middle station, and then the Seven Wells (Telaga Tujuh) waterfall, although walking unguided through the trail is not advisable as the trail is not well-maintained and there is a risk of getting lost. Pre-arrangement with a naturalist guide is necessary.

Skyrex
SkyRex provides a dynamic and totally immersive experience that takes sensory and physical simulation to a whole new level. An adrenaline inducing adventure that will excite, thrill and enthrall in equal measures.
After entering the SkyRex, visitors take their seats on a tram styled simulator and are taken on a 5 minutes fun filled journey that assaults that senses-physical platform drops, dynamic motion, blasts of air, water spray, vibrations, dramatic lighting, surround sound and 3D film projected to the front and both sides of the tram, combines to give the most realistic experience possible.
Equipped with five 3D version projectors, SkyRex immerses passengers in a simulated 3D environment produced on curved surround-screen. Each ‘tram’ unit of 30 seats sits upon a dynamic motion base and is surrounded by 3D projection which combined with a range of 4D effects, results in an unrivalled attraction to entertain and educate. Skyglide
SkyGlide is a cabin type of transport that can move upward and downward according to a certain incline level. In, general, the design of the cabin is like an elevator with the finishing of glass panels on all sides. This is to allow visitors to have a clear view of mount Machincang and its surroundings. Currently visitor who wish to visit SkyBridge will have to take a short 10 minutes’ walk through a jungle trail. This short walk is both fun but a bit challenging especially to the elderly and children. However with SkyGlide visitor would have a much faster and convenient way of visiting SkyBridge.
With 94 meters of track length, SkyGlide cabin can accommodate up to 12 passengers or 1050 kilogram of load per trip. It takes less than 2 minutes for the cabin to travel from top station to SkyBridge. SkyGlide ticket is sold separately from the standard SkyCab ticket. The ticket is available only from the SkyGlide ticketing counter at the top station. For an additional fee of RM10 for adult and RM7 for children, visitors would be able to use SkyGlide for both your travel and return journey.
For the adventurous that might prefer to take a walk to SkyBridge but later would love to try the SkyGlide ride for your return trip back to top station, you can purchase your one way ticket at the mobile counter at SkyBridge.

Situated in the middle of Oriental Village area, the lake area has become one of the main attractions here. Covering an area of a small football field, it offers water-based activities that can be enjoyed by everyone.

Dream to walk on Water? We will make your dream come true. Roller Orb is a 2 meter inflatable where one to two person can walk, tumble and relax while floating on water. 3 D Art Museum
Located within the vicinity of Oriental Village, with 21,000 square feet of build up, it features more than one hundred 3D interactive paintings, artistically painted by a group of talented international artists. This is yet another signature product by Langkawi SkyCab in collaboration with Art In Paradise Langkawi providing new dimension and experience to visitors.
Step inside or crawl into the exhibits. Interact with the characters and become the subject of the artwork on display. This almost surreal gallery is a must have on your to-do list.
There are nine different theme zones that you will truly enjoy. Optic Illusion Zone
This zone contains images designed so as to manipulate the eyes of the visitors. Here visitors can see and experience how an image can produce a variety of different images and illusions.Visitors can take pictures with various fun poses blending nicely with exhibitions. Cameras as well as video equipment are permitted in the museum.
Aquarium Zone
Featuring a wide variety of marine life images and its beauty, visitors can fulfill their childhood fantasies while exploring the diversity of the oceans
Safari Zone

Classic Zone
A zone which displays replicas of paintings by famous artists from around the world. Here visitors can see and interact with the masterpiece paintings by artists such as Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, Gustav Klimt and Leonardo da Vinci’s who are famous with their works on Mona Lisa, The Fifer, The Swing, Soap Bubble etc.
Main Hall Zone
The Main Hall is the main attraction of this museum itself. Featuring Egyptian theme, old castle and stunning views of waterfalls, it is a masterpiece of harmony and continuity between one another. As it holds one of the largest paintings in Malaysia, this zone is also the largest zone in the museum.
Malaysia Zone
