Van Vihar National Park is main attraction in Manali. Located near the Mall Road, this park is full of deodar trees that provide shade to the whole area. It has swings, slides and play areas for kids and benches where adults can sit back and enjoy the beautiful weather. There is a small lake in the middle where boating can be done.
Its well-laid paths are perfect for a long and refreshing stroll amid lush greenery. It looks like a small forest of Deodhar trees set on the banks of the Beas river. You can walk down the kuchcha paths made in the forest for peace. The Beas river flows along and gives this place an ethereal feel.
